Daria Riahuzova

Hi, I'm Daria

I'm a Senior Product Designer based in Warsaw, with over 10 years of experience across iGaming, SaaS, logistics, and real estate tech. I've worked with teams on three continents, designing products that serve millions of users in markets from Latin America to Southeast Asia.

What sets me apart is the intersection of craft and systems thinking. I don't just design screens — I build scalable design systems, run UX research to validate decisions, and use product analytics to measure impact. Right now I'm deepening my analytics skills at Projector Institute (Product Analytics & Data Mining program).

I believe the best design happens when you deeply understand both the user's pain and the business constraint. That's where I thrive — turning that tension into something clear, useful, and beautiful.

When I'm not designing, I'm traveling, hiking, or training my Lagotto Romagnolo puppy. My curiosity about psychology and human behavior shapes everything I design.

ATI Connections Map

An interactive relationship visualization tool for the largest freight exchange in CIS — helping logistics companies verify partners in minutes instead of hours.

Company
ATI.SU
Role
Senior UX/UI Designer
Year
2021
Platform
Web (Desktop)

Context

ATI.SU is the leading B2B freight exchange platform in CIS with 500K+ registered companies, 250K+ daily cargo listings, and 70K+ trucks. Users work with massive amounts of data that's nearly impossible to analyze manually.

In logistics, a critical challenge is quickly and reliably evaluating partners. In interviews, risk managers and sales reps reported spending up to 45–60 minutes collecting and cross-checking data across multiple registries before making a single decision.

ATI platform overview

Discovery & Research

I conducted 12 in-depth interviews with risk managers, sales representatives, and account managers to understand their workflows and pain points.

Design Approach

The core challenge was representing complex, multi-layered relationship data in a way that's immediately understandable. I explored several approaches before landing on an interactive graph-based map.

Why a graph map, not a table

Tables work for linear data. But relationships are networks — a company can be linked to 5 others through a shared founder, who also has a phone number tied to 3 more entities. A spatial representation makes these patterns visible at a glance.

Key design decisions

ATI wireframes
ATI map UI
ATI map interaction detail

Results

7 min
Verification time, down from 45–60 min per company
+22%
Growth in paid subscription upgrades within first 3 months
15K+
Users adopted the feature within 3 months of launch
+30%
More "warm leads" identified by sales teams through indirect connections

1 in 3 new subscribers cited the connections map as their primary reason for upgrading (post-purchase survey). Day-1 retention: 72%. Day-7 retention: 54%.

SDUI Page Builder

A visual builder that empowers regional operators to manage gambling platform interfaces independently — fast, intuitive, and without developer involvement.

Company
Growe
Role
Lead Product Designer
Year
2024–2025
Platform
Web (Internal Tool)

Context

Growe operates iGaming brands across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Each region has unique regulatory requirements, player preferences, and promotional calendars. Regional operators needed to update platform content constantly — new promotions, seasonal layouts, localized widgets.

The problem: every interface change required a developer. A simple homepage update could take 2–3 weeks from request to deployment.

SDUI context

Discovery

I interviewed 6 regional operators and 4 product managers to map the end-to-end content update workflow. The bottleneck was clear: operators knew exactly what they wanted but had no way to execute without engineering support.

Key pain points

Design Solution

I designed SDUI Builder — a visual interface where operators can configure pages by dragging and dropping pre-built widgets, editing content inline, and publishing changes instantly.

Core capabilities

SDUI builder interface
SDUI widget configuration
SDUI builder workflow

Results

<24h
Page launch time, down from 2–3 weeks
0
Developer involvement needed for content changes
5+
Regional markets using the builder independently

Operators gained full autonomy to localize content, run layout experiments, and respond to market opportunities in real time. The platform became significantly faster and more competitive as a result.

Sports Betting & Casino Platform Redesign

A full-scale redesign of a multi-region betting platform — from fragmented UX to a unified, conversion-driven product serving Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Company
Growe (NDA)
Role
Lead Product Designer
Year
2023–2025
Platform
Mobile-first, Responsive Web

Context

The platform is a global betting product operating across Africa, Asia, and LATAM. It combines sports betting, live betting, and casino in a single product. When I joined, the platform suffered from fragmented UX, outdated visuals, and heavy developer dependency for any content changes.

Challenges

Platform before redesign
Platform after redesign

My Approach

I started by mapping the entire user journey across all three verticals (sports, live, casino) to identify where the experience broke down. The biggest conversion leak was in the deposit flow — a 6-step onboarding funnel that lost nearly half of new users.

Key design decisions

Design system overview
Sports betting screens
Casino experience
Platform screens overview

Results

~18%
Improvement in deposit conversion rate after funnel redesign
5
Regional markets served with a single, adaptable platform
200+
Components in the multi-theme design system
~40%
Reduction in UI inconsistency tickets after design system adoption

The platform evolved into a globally consistent yet regionally adaptive product — faster, more intuitive, and significantly easier to scale. The design system was adopted by 3 product teams, and regional operators gained full autonomy through the SDUI builder.
